The hockey season is back, and you can follow it all with us right here on BIH.

Last Wednesday evening the Swindon Wildcats put in a top performance, as they defeated local rivals the Slough Jets in front of a big crowd. Having won the previous weekend, the Wildcats result meant back-to-back victories after outscoring the Jets 5-3.
Swindon opened the night in great form, having grabbed the first goal of the evening through forward Aaron Nell's follow up shot.
The Jets' Doug Sheppard soon replied minutes before the period was out, having collected on a loose puck that made its way through 'Cats netminder Dean Skinns.
The Wildcats found a reply almost instantly as the second period began, this time with import Michal Pinc connecting on a rebounded puck to find the empty net. Despite being surrounding by several players, fellow import Jonas Hoog then found an open Nell who made it three, this time placing the puck into the top corner and consequently past helpless netminder Gregg Rockman.
Minutes on and previous scorer Pinc then found his second of the evening and a fourth for Swindon, as a wrap around effort saw the puck make its way yet again into the net.
Slough were not out of the game just yet as after several minutes of confusion, the Jets were then awarded a second goal after the puck was deemed to make its way across the line and out of reach of netminder Skinns.
Into the third period and the away side were then to find a important third goal as Dan Davies used some soft skills to beat a defenseman and with a backhand effort, place the puck into the goal for a 4-3 scoreline.
With just 5 minutes remaining in the period, Swindon then responded to close out the game as import forward Jaroslav Cesky ran onto a loose puck and with a poke, slide it under a sprawled netminder that could do very little more to keep it out.
Despite pulling their netminder and attacking with the extra man, the Slough Jets were eventually given their second loss in succession as the Swindon Wildcats took a 5-3 victory and a good two point win.
