Wildcats to strike MK Lightning
This weekend the Swindon Wildcats will face off against the MK Lightning, when the two meet on 'Cat ice for the last time this season. Only two places separate the two sides in the league and although there may be a substantial point difference, these two teams will come together off the back of very different performances. Whilst Swindon are currently carrying a three game winning streak with a scoring record of 19 goals within it, the Lightning have had to face three games without a win as they enter the weekend's games.
An underlying rivalry will be in the air come this Saturday evening, with the Wildcats being the team who denied the MK Lightning a trip to the playoff finals last year in a spectacular two legged fixture that saw the 'Cats come out winners to travel to the final themselves. Finally look for these two teams to really go at each other this weekend, with some top imports taking to the ice for both sides and 2 very important points up for grabs along with the victory.
