Bjorklund looking forward to facing former team

Clan, British Ice Hockey
Glasgow’s Braehead Clan defenceman Christoffer Björklund is looking forward to facing his former team this Friday at Braehead Arena.
The Sheffield Steelers visit intu Braehead for the first time this season in Challenge Cup Group A action (7:30pm face-off).
The 29-year-old Swedish blueliner believes a win against Sheffield could be a catalyst to get the Clan back to winning ways.
“I enjoyed my time in Sheffield and playing there, myself and my family made a lot of friends during our short time there. However, now I am with Braehead and proud to be playing for the Clan.
“We need to get back to winning ways straight away and it would be big confidence boost if we could do that against the Steelers.
“They are one of the top organisations in the country and their success on the ice reflects that, they have quality throughout their team so it won’t be easy.
“We’re all hurting after last Sunday’s loss in Fife and want to get back to winning ways this weekend for the Purple Army.”
