Brooks looking for redemption against Coventry

Clan, British Ice Hockey
Glasgow’s Braehead Clan forward Brendan Brooks says it’s important for the team to get redemption over Coventry Blaze this Saturday.
Danny Stewart brings his team to Braehead for the first time this season and have one win under their belt against the Clan this season already.
Brooks, who scored a hat-trick against Edinburgh Capitals last Saturday, has urged his team-mates to up their game for this one.
“It’s very important for us to have redemption and after losing on their ice before, we’ll be at home for this one,” he said.
“They have to know they’ll come here for a game.  They’re a good team and we’ll have to bring more to this one than we did against Edinburgh on Saturday.
“We have to keep on doing what we’ve doing in winning our recent games and that’s good defence, battling hard and hitting.
“Since the start of the year, hitting’s an area we’ve improved in and of course, we have to keep scoring.
“We’d love to make it five wins in a row, maybe six all going well after this weekend.
“Every year, this league gets better and Coventry are in a tough division.  It’s important for us to keep winning and moving up for that play-off place.
“Blaze have a couple of threats going forward so we’ll have to keep our eye on them.”
Tickets for the visit of the Coventry Blaze this Saturday (7:00pm face-off) and Nottingham Panthers this Sunday (6:00pm face-off) are available now via braeheadclan.com, by calling 0844 499 1700 or direct at the Braehead Arena box office.
