Clan win prestigious business award

Braehead Clan have won their first ever business award.

The Elite League outfit claimed the ROCCO Award for Outstanding Performing Business >25 employees in front of a sell-out crowd at the Normandy Hotel in Renfrew last Friday night.

The annual business awards are hosted by Renfrewshire Chamber of Commerce and are recognised as the region’s premier business event.

Andy McLaughlin, Clan Commercial Director, commented: “To win such a prestigious award as a ROCCO from Renfrewshire Chamber of Commerce is a great testimony to everyone involved with the club.

“We are still a very young organisation but our growth has demonstrated that there is a place for an Ice Hockey team in the West of Scotland and, make no mistake about it, this award is dedicated to every one of our fans as they are the heartbeat of the club.”
