Craig Peacock returns to Glasgow Clan for 2019/20

Peacock 1, British Ice Hockey

Glasgow Clan have confirmed Craig Peacock will return for a fourth season in 2019/20.

Peacock, 30, joined Clan back in 2016 and enjoyed his best season for the club in 2018/19, registering 25 points (14 goals, 11 assists).

Head Coach Peter Russell said: “I am delighted to be welcoming Craig Peacock back for his fourth season with the Clan.

“Craig is one of the top British forwards in the EIHL, so it was important we retained him for another season.

“He had a difficult finish to the season with his injury, but I know he is hungry and looking forward to coming back stronger and ready for the start of 2019/20”

Peacock will wear the number 71 shirt for Clan and is their seventh signing ahead of the new season.

The club have already announced the arrivals of Patrick Killeen, Scott Tanski, Craig Moore, Scott Pitt, Rasmus Bjerrum and Matt Stanisz.

Peacock came through the academy at Peterborough before going on to make over 350 appearances for the Belfast Giants.
