Belfast Giants continued their recent excellent form in the Elite League with two more impressive victories.

Blair Riley (2) led the scoring for the Giants in their 7-4 home win against Nottingham Panthers, while Chris Higgins (above) weighed in with a couple of goals in a 3-0 success at Coventry Blaze.

Leaders Cardiff Devils had a mixed weekend, winning 3-2 at home to Sheffield Steelers before following up with a 5-2 defeat at Nottingham.

Braehead Clan lost 7-4 at home to Coventry, but bounced back to win 4-1 at Fife – Mike Hammond, Matt Beca, Zach Sullivan and Alex Leavitt got the goals against the Flyers.

That result completed a miserable weekend for the Kirkcaldy outfit who also lost 4-3 after a shoot-out at Manchester Storm – Darian Dziurzynski bagged the decider for the home team.

Dundee Stars lost 4-3 after overtime at Edinburgh Capitals, but gained their revenge in emphatic fashion back on home ice with a 10-3 victory – Kevin Bruijsten (5) topped their scoring.
