Sheffield Steelers maintained their 100% record in the Elite League after picking up a pair of victories.

Jesse Schultz grabbed the winner in a 2-1 success at Braehead Clan, and the Canadian added another pair as the Steelers won 5-1 on home ice against Belfast Giants.

Nottingham Panthers remain top of the table after a 2-1 home win over Dundee Stars – Jeff Dimmen scored both goals.

Ryan Dingle (2) and Justin Fox (2) topped the scoring for Fife Flyers in their 7-0 demolition of Manchester Storm, while Philippe Paquet’s goal sealed a 1-0 road victory at Coventry Blaze for Todd Dutiaume’s team.

Cardiff Devils lost 3-2 after overtime at home to Coventry, but bounced back with a stylish 4-2 win at Dundee.

Braehead recorded just their second league win of the season with a 5-2 success at Edinburgh Capitals.

In the Elite Challenge Cup, Belfast won 5-1 on home ice against Braehead, while Petr Kalus’ shoot-out strike secured a 3-2 victory for Nottingham at Manchester.
