With March’s conclusion, the Elite League’s final act is near.

Just the final handful of regular-season contests remain, before we head into a fortnight of head-spinning, playoff action.

March saw the Belfast Giants clinch their first title of the season, while the Nottingham Panthers scored their second, doubling down on their Continental Cup win by taking home the Challenge Cup.

Playoff seeding is all that’s left to be decided.

The Fife Flyers and Dundee Stars are out: only the order of the top eight remains to be settled.

With that, let’s dive into the season’s penultimate Elite League Team of the Month.

Elite League Team of the Month: March 2026

Justin Fazio, Guildford Flames

The Guildford Flames enter the playoffs as one of the league’s most in-form teams.

Paul Dixon’s squad went 7-2-0 in March, moving into sixth place and within striking distance of the Manchester Storm.

Justin Fazio was a standout performer throughout.

The Canadian scored seven wins (in eight appearances), clocked back-to-back 40-save wins, and kept a shutout versus the Coventry Blaze.

In his worst performance of the month, Fazio was still a .900 netminder.

Josh Tetlow, Nottingham Panthers

Josh Tetlow isn’t a big point-producer.

The Team Great Britain international plays a simple game with the puck on his stick, but he popped up with a huge assist in the Challenge Cup final.

With the Coventry Blaze taking a surprise lead, the Panthers needed to strike back in the second period and Tetlow provided the primary helper.

Averaging 14 minutes per night, Tetlow has grown into a solid, second-pair defenceman, who earns Team of the Month honours this time around.

Steven Seigo, Glasgow Clan

The Glasgow Clan’s leader in blocked shots enjoyed a March to remember.

Steven Seigo produced a string of standout defensive performances to help Mike Sirant’s squad ride out the month with a 4-3-2 record, enough to keep seventh within reach.

Seigo made 10 blocks and recorded two assists in March.

Jack Jacome, Guildford Flames

With 10 points (five goals, five assists) in nine games, Jack Jacome is a Team of the Month lock.

The Canadian saved his best ’till last, scoring a hattrick in Guildford’s 3-2 win over the Clan on 28 March.

David Goodwin, Belfast Giants

The Belfast Giants’ captain once again led from the front as his side secured yet another piece of silverware.

David Goodwin delivered when it mattered most, scoring a brace in a 4-2, title-clinching win over the Nottingham Panthers.

The American forward posted seven points (three goals, four assists) across nine games in March, continuing to set the standard for Adam Keefe’s side heading into the playoffs.

Kristoff Kontos, Cardiff Devils

Consistency defined Kristoff Kontos’ March.

The Cardiff Devils’ leading scorer registered at least a point in every game, racking up 15 points (four goals, 11 assists) in just eight appearances.

Kontos’ standout moment came on 22 March, when he scored a hattrick in a dominant 8-1 victory over the Dundee Stars, sealing his place in this month’s selection.
