Jens Eriksson has penned a deal for a second year with Guildford Flames.

The 31-year-old Swedish forward enjoyed an impressive first season in the EPL, scoring 31 goals with 44 assists in 55 games.

Head Coach Paul Dixon said: “Jens was part of the specific personnel changes in the last off-season that we felt would help us to improve the offensive side of our game.

“His numbers speak for themselves in terms of how that worked out for us, so it is great news to have him return to the team.

“He has an excellent shot and he is very effective on the powerplay which improved by nearly five percentage points from the year prior – progress to which Jens certainly helped contribute.

“Jens wants to help us win trophies so his individual skills and his team oriented attitude are a great fit for our success objectives that don’t change from year to year.”
