Guildford Flames have secured the services of Danny Meyers for a third season.

Meyers brings a wealth of experience to the Flames defensive ranks, having previously iced for the likes of Sheffield Steelers, Nottingham Panthers and Great Britain.

The 33-year-old was an integral part of the Flames’ roster last year, helping the club secure the EPL Cup and the end-of-season play-off title.

Head Coach Paul Dixon said: “Danny had a very good season and was a significant contributor to our success.

“His broad experience in a variety of leagues and internationally help make him a very valuable piece of our defensive unit.

“We put teams together with the purpose of competing for silverware and you need skilled players who have a track record for success in order to do that.

“Danny ticks those boxes and we are looking forward to his input into our title seeking aspirations for the coming season.”
