Fife Flyers have confirmed the re-signing of Canadian forward Justin Fox.

The 29-year-old bagged 24 goals with 29 assists in 62 games last season to help the Flyers reach the Elite League play-off final weekend.

Fox said: “I’m extremely excited to be back in Fife for another season.

“Last year we made a lot of strides in the right direction in tying the conference and making the play-off final weekend, so we want to build on this for next season.

“I believe the team is moving in the right direction and I can’t wait to be a part of it again.

Head Coach Todd Dutiaume added: “With Foxy back that’s us retained our top three scorers from last season which was a goal of ours from the start.

“Not only did Justin have an impact on ice, he was a positive influence in the room – so much so be was rewarded with a letter on his jersey.

“I expect even more from Justin this season and with a year playing in the EIHL under his belt, the experience he has gained will certainly help him for the forthcoming season. He’ll be able to assist our new players adjust and settle in quickly in Fife.

“We’ve improved each of the past five seasons and the aim is to build on this and consistently bring performances that will lead us to success – Justin is a big piece of that puzzle.”
