Fife Flyers’ utility man Jamie Wilson has agreed another year with the Elite League club.

The 29-year-old first iced for the Flyers in the British National League during the 2004/05 season and has since established himself as a permanent member of the squad.

Wilson said: “I’m looking forward to getting back on the ice and meeting the new guys and catching up with my teammates from previous seasons.

“We’ve had a couple of decent runs at chasing down silverware over the last two seasons, and I’m keen for us to make this year the season we achieve this.

“It was great to make the play-off finals weekend last year, and we just missed out on the Conference title, so I know this year we’ll all be eager to go one step further.”

Flyers Head Coach Todd Dutiaume added: “Jamie has been a loyal servant to this club for many years now. He knows he has a spot on the roster, but equally that he will have to work hard for game time.

“Jamie is an important guy on our squad and in the room and it’s good to have him back.”
