Giants forward Matt Bissonnette leaves Belfast

Giants V Fife 008, British Ice Hockey
Matt Bissonnette has played his last game for the Stena Line Belfast Giants with the forward opting to leave the organisation for personal reasons.
Bissonnette joined the Giants in early October from the Manchester Storm with Adam Keefe’s side rocked by injuries. In nine games played for the Giants, Bissonnette posted one goal and one assist – helping the side to a record of seven wins and two losses.
“I want to thank Matt for his contribution to the team over the last few months, helping out when we were short on bodies,” said Head Coach Adam Keefe. “I want to wish Matt well in the future.”
“We have already started the process to find a new addition that will strengthen the roster for the remainder of the season and we will hopefully have an announcement soon.”
