NIHL South round-up: Five in a row for the Chieftains

Chelmsford Chieftains secured their fifth consecutive NIHL1 South title after recording victories over Invicta Dynamos and Streatham IHC.

Grant Bartlett and Juraj Huska both hit hat-tricks in the Chieftains’ 9-3 road success against the Dynamos, while Darren Brown led the way in their 6-3 home win over Streatham.

Alan Green’s hat-trick was the highlight of Oxford City Stars’ 5-2 home victory against Bracknell Hornets.

Ross Bowers’ late goal sealed a 3-2 home win for MK Thunder over Solent Devils.

In D2S, Bristol Pitbulls crashed 8-2 at Basingstoke Buffalo, while Invicta Mustangs triumphed 5-3 at Lee Valley Lions.
