Nottingham Panthers have released defenseman Kyle Hardy.

The Canadian joined Nottingham earlier in the season from Tingsryds AIF in Sweden’s Allsvenskan, after previously enjoying four seasons in France with Dijon and Chamonix.

Head Coach Corey Neilson commented: “Kyle understands we’re in a results based business and that things haven’t panned out as we had hoped.

“He’s a professional and he’s hoping to pick up another team as soon as possible but we, as an organisation, need to get back to where we were.”

Since Hardy’s arrival Panthers have also added last season’s top scorer Chris Lawrence to the roster and both Brad Moran and Stephen Schultz are pencilled in for training next week, and one or both could be back in the line-up on Boxing Day.
