Chris Lawrence is back with Nottingham Panthers for the 2016/17 season.
Lawrence joined the Panthers in 2014, scoring 25 goals with 38 assists in 61 games.
After being surprisingly released by the club the 29-year-old had a brief spell with Coventry Blaze before moving to Sheffield Steelers.
He returned to Nottingham last December, helping the Panthers win the Challenge Cup and Elite League play-off title.
Head Coach Corey Neilson said: “We’re happy that Chris is coming back to Nottingham.
“He is big, strong and he can play multiple roles on the team. He’s also strong at the dot.
“He knows us and how we work, he knows the expectations and I’m glad we got him signed up for next season.”
