Nottingham Panthers have secured their place the next stage of the IIHF Continental Cup 2017 with a trio of impressive victories in Spain.

The Panthers started the round-robin group with a 13-2 win against hosts CH Jaca on Friday and followed up with a convincing 12-1 victory against Turkish outfit Zeytinburnu Istanbul on Saturday.

David Clarke (2) and Matt Carter were on target in Sunday’s final game as the Panthers defeated Latvia’s HK Liepaja 3-1.

Corey Neilson’s team now head to the third round of the competition where they will take on hosts Odense Bulldogs, Angers Ducs (France) and HC Donbass (Ukraine) in Denmark from November 18-20th.
