Craig Peacock has called on Glasgow’s Braehead Clan to defeat his former club when they visit Glasgow on Boxing Day.
The Belfast Giants are the visitors to Braehead Arena on Tuesday (6:00pm face-off) in Elite Ice Hockey League action.
The Clan are looking to get back to winning ways following recent home losses to the Guildford Flames and Cardiff Devils.
“Being in tenth place isn’t comfortable reading for anyone associated with the club, we need to start winning games and climbing the table” said the GB International.
“Belfast are one of the form team’s in the league and will be a very difficult proposition for us. However, we’re more than capable of defeating the top teams and we need that to start on Boxing Day.
“I thought we played very well against Cardiff on Friday and we need to continue that into this game if we are to get the two points.
“With the Purple Army right behind us, with an electric atmosphere, we can get a big and important win against the Giants.”
