Peacock returns against Sheffield this Friday

Clan, British Ice Hockey

Great Britain forward Craig Peacock will be back in the Glasgow’s Braehead Clan line-up this Friday when the Sheffield Steelers visit Braehead Arena (7:30pm face-off).

29-year-old Peacock has been out injured with an upper body injury since late October, but has this week been given the green light to return from the club’s medical staff.

The news is a big boost for Clan head coach John Tripp who last weekend lost former NHLer Ryan Potulny through a hand injury.

“Peacock is one of the top British players in the EIHL, so to have him coming back into the line-up can only be seen as a positive” confirmed Tripp.

“Losing players of Craig’s calibre would effect any team in this league, especially after losing Ryan Potulny through another freak injury.

“It’s a big game and one we are totally focused on winning, if we play the way we did against Coventry and Nottingham, we are capable of beating anyone in the EIHL.”

Tickets for the visit of the Sheffield Steelers this Friday (7:30pm face-off) are available now via braeheadclan.com, by calling 0844 499 1700 or direct at the Braehead Arena box office.
