Darius Pliskauskas will be returning for the second year of his contract with Peterborough Phantoms.

The 35-year-old forward has been a prolific scorer during his time in the EPL, bagging over 267 goals with 212 assists in 354 games.

Head Coach Slava Koulikov said: “In addition to being a great teammate, Darius always shows up with the big goals and plays when its needed – he is the type of player that can change the game and win us games.

“Above all, he does this whilst believing in our Phantoms philosophy.

“To have experienced import players in our dressing room like Darius is a privilege, and we are excited to have them lead our team again this coming season.”

Pliskauskas added: “I’m really settled here in Peterborough and have enjoyed the past three seasons in Phantoms colours.

“Each year we have improved and I can see great things for this coming season, I can’t wait to get started.”
