Garrett Zemlak could be on his way back to the British game.

The former Fife Flyers, Braehead Clan and Belfast Giants netminder has had a long spell on the sidelines, but Rink Mole can reveal he is now fully fit and ready for action.

Zemlak first played on these shores back in 2011 as the Flyers’ starting goalie during their debut season in Britain’s top league.

He moved to Braehead Clan at the start of the 2012/13 season, before switching to Belfast Giants part way through the campaign.

Both teams won their respective conferences that season and Zemlak posted a 92.6 save percentage with the Giants.

He joined the SPHL’s Louisiana IceGators in 2014, but played just three games for the club.
