Dundee Stars have signed Italian forward Tommaso Traversa.
The 26-year-old spent last season with the East Coast Hockey League’s (ECHL) Alaska Aces where he was a teammate of Stars’ blueliner Felix-Antoine Poulin.
Head Coach Marc LeFebvre said: “We’ve been patient over the last few weeks in terms of finalising our import contingent.
“Our focus is on making sure that we get a good fit for what we are trying to do as team this season.
“Tommaso we believe will be an ideal fit for what we are trying to achieve. He has wheels and is team guy and we are delighted to have him on board.
“We believe our patience has paid off and the team’s roster is now stronger.”
