Stars sign Stadel from the Oil Kings

Dundee Stars have confirmed the signing of defender Riley Stadel.

The 21-year-old moves to the Elite League from the WHL’s Edmonton Oil Kings.

Stars’ boss Omar Pacha said: “Riley is a young, talented and tough defenseman. The last two years he went back and forth, but he is a natural ‘D’ man.

“He can jump into the play, create offense and has a really strong shot. He is a team first guy and his work ethic is tremendous.”
