Team Great Britain’s 2026 IIHF World Championship roster is in.
Coventry Blaze netminder Mat Robson headlines the list of six players set to make their tournament debuts, drawing into the squad for the first time since gaining national team eligibility.
The 29-year-old, a former Minnesota Wild prospect, owns a .922 save percentage through 37 regular-season appearances this term, his second season in the Elite League.
Travis Brown also enters the fray for the first time since making his international switch, with the 32-year-old defenceman recording 18 points (four goals, 14 assists) in 5o regular-season games for the Guildford Flames.
Dundee-born Kris Inglis will make his World Championship debut at age-27, with 28-year-old defender Brad Jenion earning his first national team call-up since 2018.
Coventry Blaze forward Jack Hopkins steps into the senior roster following a standout career at the U20-level.
Sam Lyne, who is committed to Colgate University for the 2026-27 NCAA season, also makes the leap from the U20s.

The Brits return to the top pool of the World Championship with a point to prove and an opportunity to grasp.
Drawn into Group A alongside Austria and Hungary, Pete Russell’s squad enter the tournament with a genuine shot at survival — and the players to make it happen.
Robson is a sensational addition for Team GB.
The Mississauga-born netminder has played his heart out for the Blaze, dragging Coventry to the Challenge Cup final while maintaining a crisp .922 regular-season save percentage.
Standing at 6-foot-3, Robson always gives his team a chance to win — a habit that will prove consequential if he beats out Ben Bowns and Jackson Whistle in the race for ice time.
Brown will add two-way solidity to Team GB’s back-end, adding a wealth of professional experience to a blueline that already includes veterans Mark Richardson and Nathanael Halbert.
Liam Kirk remains crucial to the squad’s survival hopes.
The Maltby native exploded for 55 points (32 goals, 23 assists) in 52 DEL games this term, ranking fifth in league-wide point production.
Staying in the top flight is always a sharp task for Team GB, but this year’s roster has the makings of a group that could stave off an immediate return to Division 1A.
