Braehead Clan have signed Coventry forward Neil Trimm, while Chris Bruton has left the club and signed for Blaze.
Trimm returns to the Clan having previously spent the past two seasons at Braehead Arena.
Braehead Hockey & Operations Director Gareth Chalmers commented: “A situation has recently arisen where we felt we had to make a decision on Chris’ future with the club.
“When the opportunity materialised to re-sign Neil Trimm, with the quality we know he will bring to us, it’s something we decided to pursue. We’re looking forward to having Neil in the line-up for the weekend.
“Unfortunately things didn’t work out with Chris, however we wish him all the best with the Coventry Blaze for the remainder of the season.”
Blaze Head Coach Chuck Weber said: “We are excited to get Chris Bruton into the mix here. His physicality along with his skill set will fit well into our group.
“He is another forward that plays direct and in between the dots. Neil is a great person and everyone at the Coventry Blaze organisation wishes him the all the best in Scotland.”
