Glasgow’s Braehead Clan head coach John Tripp has called on his team to up their compete level against the Milton Keynes Lightning and Fife Flyers.
Despite losing to Nottingham on Wednesday, Tripp was pleased with his team work ethic and the way they competed against the current Continental Cup champions.
“We’ve got a big weekend coming up and two important games against Milton Keynes and Fife” said Tripp.
“We are totally focused on winning both games, with the aim of being a lot further up the league table come Monday morning.
“Our compete level hasn’t been good enough recently and we’ve been trying to address that. I thought we played a lot harder on Wednesday against Nottingham.
“If we show that level every single game we will have a chance of winning every single game, hard work is an integral part of winning and it’s the minimum this organisation expects.”
