Tripp looking to continue positive home form

Clan, British Ice Hockey
Glasgow’s Braehead Clan head coach John Tripp believes his team can build on their recent good home form with another win this Saturday.
The Clan’s Gardiner Conference rivals the Dundee Stars come to Braehead Arena (7:00pm face-off), with Tripp looking for his team to continue climbing the EIHL table.
“Sunday’s win against Guildford was a massive result for us” said the Canadian. “Taking into consideration we started slow and we were two nil down, to turn around the game and get a win was testament to the character we have in this team.
“That’s now seven points out of a possible ten points in the league on home ice and we need to continue that good form as we head into Saturday.
“As Dundee showed against Belfast on Sunday, they are a good team and one we have to be ready for. If we go into the game with the same attitude we showed in the second and third period on Sunday, we are capable of beating anyone.
“We played physical against Guildford and sent a message that we’re not here to roll over, I’ll be expecting more of that this weekend.”
Tickets for the visit of the Dundee Stars on Saturday (7:00pm face-off), are available now via braeheadclan.com, by calling 0844 499 1700 or direct at the Braehead Arena box office.
