Netminder Miika Wiikman is returning for a second year with Nottingham Panthers.
The 31-year-old Scandinavian posted shut-outs in both the Challenge Cup and Play-Off finals last season helping the team to win both trophies.
“I had a great time playing for Nottingham and the fans of the Panthers and I’m very pleased to be coming back,” said Wiikman.
Head Coach Corey Neilson added: “It’s good news all round. Miika can be the star of the show and he made a string of amazing saves for us last season, single-handedly winning some important games.
“In the big ones he was unbelievable and we’re thrilled to have him back.”
