Grimsby Leisure Centre is a multi-purpose sports complex based in Grimsby, Lincolnshire. It is home to the Grimsby Red Wings, who currently compete in the North 2 division of the National Ice Hockey League.
Around the ground –
There are several pubs and restaurants within close proximity of the ground. The Bradley Inn, Brewers Fayre Haven and The Barge all offer a range of food and drink, while The Friary offers outdoor seating for during the warmer summer months.
Aside from places to eat, Cleethorpes Beach and Jungle Zoo are within three miles of the stadium, while Grimsby Fishing Heritage Centre provides a historic look at the town’s aquatic heritage.
Getting there –
By car from the M18: Exit the M18 and stay left to merge onto the M180. Follow the M180 until it becomes the A180. At the roundabout, take the third exit to stay on the A180. Take the third exit onto Pyewipe Road at the next roundabout. At the third roundabout, take the third exit onto Cromwell Road (if done correctly, Tesco Express will be on your left). Follow Cromwell Road for half a mile and Grimsby Leisure Centre will appear on your left.
There is adequate free parking available at the leisure centre, with a mixture of normal and disabled parking. Should that be full Grimsby Town Car Park is little over a five-minute walk from the centre.
By train: Grimsby Town railway station is the nearest to the arena, with trains operated by Trans-Pennine Express, Northern and East Midlands Trains. It is just over one mile from the arena and taxis will run from outside the station throughout the day.

Grimsby is a large coastal port on the South Bank of the Humber Estuary. With a thriving indoor market and proposals to transform parts of the town into vibrant community areas, Grimsby is heading towards a period of regeneration with a nod to its heritage. Grimsby is also home to the Red Wings. Formed in 1932, this makes them one of the oldest ice hockey teams in operation.
