Thompson back for another year with Bison

Basingstoke Bison have confirmed the re-signing of British forward Shaun Thompson.

The Slough-born player returned to Bison last season from Manchester Phoenix, and has now made over 400 appearances in the EPL.

Thompson said: “We have improved our team, which we needed to do as this league is getting tougher every year.

“I enjoyed last season winning the league and it would be really nice to do it again and maybe add another trophy as well.

“I have been training really hard during the summer, as I want to improve on last season.

“The team looks stronger and expectations are high as we try and retain the championship. We have all the tools for sure, looking at the line-up.”
