Great Britain U20 completed their trip to Slovakia with a 4-1 victory over St Polten on Thursday evening.

The week-long training camp is part of GB’s preparations for their World Championship (Division 1B) tournament in Budapest in December.

The result was the second success for Tom Watkins’ team after Wednesday’s 3-1 win over Extraliga U20 outfit Hoba Bratislava.

Vanya Antonov (above, centre) scored twice, with Tyler Plews and Cole Shudra also getting on the scoresheet.

Manchester Phoenix netminder Denis Bell looked secure in goal, conceding just once in an excellent display.

Watkins said: “This was another excellent performance and I’m very happy with what I saw.

“We’ve played two strong junior sides over the last couple of days and really upped our intensity. There are so many positives to take not just from the two games, but the training camp as a whole.”
