It’s was Stephen Murphy night in Belfast so check out the standing ovation from the Belfast Giants fan for Murphy, who celebrated his testimonial last night

There’s a night of action in the Elite League tonight and Sheffield Steelers host Glasgow Clan in one of the games, where they are keen to protect the defensive zone after their previous meeting (Sheffield Steelers)

Simmsey and friends ride again…with a former GB international going with them (Sheffield Telegraph, Ice Hockey UK)

Telford Tigers announced their multi-scoring forward, Dougie Clarkson would be leaving the club to return to Canada following this weekend’s games (Telford Tigers, Shropshire Star, British Ice Hockey)

Good news as long-time Nottingham Panthers fan Lewis Blackburn is discharged from hospital after his recent heart operation.  Read all about it at the Nottingham Panthers website.

Staying with the Panthers, Jaynen Rissling is free from suspension after missing the last six games and will return against Coventry Blaze in tonight’s game (Nottingham Panthers)

There’s a massive double header coming in Belfast this weekend when first meets second as Cardiff Devils take on the Giants.  And here’s everything you should know about it (Belfast Giants)
