Declan Balmer has agreed a third season with Basingstoke Bison.

The 20-year-old ‘D’ man enjoyed an excellent campaign in 2015/16, scoring 7 goals with 21 assists in 53 games to help Bison claim the regular-season EPL title.

Bison boss Doug Sheppard said: “Declan is a player with loads of potential and you forget how young he still is.

“For a big guy he skates well, moves the puck well and has a great shot. He is going to get even better this season and I am really pleased to have him back.”
