Glasgow’s Braehead Clan head coach John Tripp has confirmed that Canadian forward Adam Brace is likely to be out of action for the next three to four weeks.
Brace, who joined the Clan during the summer from the ECHL’s Reading Royals, has recently picked up a lower body injury and will continue his recovery away from the ice.
Tripp commented: “Adam has been playing through an injury for a couple of weeks now and we had expected it to settle down and heal naturally by now.
“However there has only been some slight improvement so he will sit out for the time being, to give him time to recover and come back strong and ready for the remainder of the season.”
The Clan are currently in advanced negotiations with a new import with the aim of having him in the UK prior to this weekend’s big games against the Fife Flyers and Sheffield Steelers.
Tripp has also confirmed that the club are still searching for an import for the final roster spot, with further signings / changes a priority.
