Edinburgh Capitals have signed Scottish netminder Jordan Marr until the end of the season.

The 25-year-old previously played for MK Lightning in the EPL in 2015/16, before switching to Hull Pirates last summer.

He quickly established himself as one of the league’s top goalies, but was surprisingly released by the Pirates during January.

Marr said: “I’m really excited to join the Edinburgh Capitals for the rest of the season. I thoroughly enjoyed my brief stint with the Caps when I was loaned out for the Belfast games before Christmas.

“I’m looking forward to battling every day in practice and improving my game so that I can be at my best whenever I’m called upon.”

Player/Coach Michal Dobron added: “When Jordan became available it made sense to discuss options. He’s a talented young netminder and we’re happy he’s joined us until the end of the season.

“He’ll fit in great with our current neminders. We can now rotate our back-ups, and he’ll also fit in with our squad as a whole easily having met them earlier in the season.”
