Braehead Clan have boosted their defensive options with the signing of Landon Oslanski for the 2017/18 Elite League season.

The 25-year-old Oslanski comes to Scotland on the back of a campaign that was split between two ECHL teams, starting at Wichita Thunder then ending with Toledo Walleye.

He played 82 games across last season for both clubs, scoring seven goals and picking up 20 assists.

Clan head coach John Tripp said: “He has plenty of experience from different teams in the ECHL and I think what he brings from there will be a big asset for us this season.

“The reports we’ve had about Landon show him to be a great competitor, a physical presence and the sort of guy team-mates can lean on.

“It’s the kind of player I want at this team who can deliver night in and night out and someone I think the fans will really take to next season.”
