Canadian forward Taylor Dickin has signed for Dundee Stars.

The 28-year-old iced for Manchester Storm last year, scoring nine goals with 17 assists in 54 games.

The native of Winnipeg is well known within the Elite League having played for Edinburgh Capitals in the 2015/16 season. In his time at Murrayfield, Taylor produced 41 points in 52 games.

Stars’ boss Marc LeFebvre said: “I am pleased to have Taylor join the Stars for this season.

“He is a versatile player with a strong two-way game who can play both centre and wing. He knows the league well and will provide secondary scoring for us”

Dickin added: “I would like to thank Marc and ownership for the opportunity to play for a great organisation like Dundee.

“I’m excited to play in Dundee in front of their loud and loyal fans. I can’t wait to get there and help this team achieve its goal of winning a championship.”
