Sam Duggan scored his first two goals on his fourth international appearance as Great Britain demolished Netherlands on Friday.

GB’s 14-0 victory moved them level on points with Japan at the top of the World Championship (Division 1B) table to set up a promotion showdown between the two teams.

“It was fantastic to get my first two GB goals and I enjoyed the experience so much,” said Duggan.

“My mum and dad were here to see it, so it really was something special. It’s great to be part of this team and I’m loving playing in a men’s World Championship.

“Saturday’s match is massive and will probably be the biggest I’ve ever played in. I can’t wait to be part of such an important game for Great Britain.”
