Fisher signs new one-year deal with Blaze

Coventry Blaze have confirmed forward Drew Fisher has agreed a new one-year contract with the club.

In his first Elite League season Fisher scored 14 goals with 27 assists in 60 games.

Fisher grabbed a number of important goals during the season, including the winner against Sheffield Steelers in the quarter-final of the play-offs.

Fisher said: “Me and my family loved our season here and can’t wait to get back to Coventry.

“When we were given the opportunity to return we knew straight away it was right for us. I can’t wait to get back on the ice again in a Blaze shirt and to play for the best fans in the league.”
