Defender Jez Lundin has agreed another season with Guildford Flames.

The 29-year-old will return for his ninth campaign with the Elite League’s new-boys. This season he will become just the tenth player in Flames’ history to ice 500 times with the club.

Head Coach Paul Dixon said: “It’s great news for us to have that continuity from one league to the next with Jez returning, and we are sure that our fans will be pleased to see another bit of familiarity on the roster.

“Jez is a well respected veteran with a great deal of experience that also happens to include Elite league service.

“He has carried a lot on his shoulders for us these past few years, and this may now be a fantastic opportunity for him to play with a little less pressure as the responsibility is spread around a bit more thanks to the deeper talent set we will have.”
