Guildford Flames have added Great Britain forward Liam Stewart to their roster.
The 22-year-old spent last season with Coventry Blaze, scoring 11 goals with 11 assists in 57 appearances.
“I’m really excited to be a part of a new club coming up to the Elite League and to be able to join a couple of players I played with last year – that will make it an easier transition,” said Stewart.
“I’ve heard nothing but great things about the city. I can’t wait to meet the fans and get the season started.”
Flames’ boss Paul Dixon added: “I watched Liam play for GB in Belfast not long ago, and what stood out most was his work ethic. Liam is a tough competitor and brings energy to every shift.
“He has good speed, he gets in on the forecheck, and can get to the net. He is a great addition for us, and we are looking forward to his part in getting the new season underway.”
