Matic Kralj has agreed a second season with Guildford Flames.

The Slovenian forward enjoyed an impressive debut year in the EPL, scoring 17 goals with 54 assists in 58 games.

Head Coach Paul Dixon said: “Matic is a guy who would be described by ice hockey pundits as having a ‘high hockey IQ’.

“He’s a highly intelligent player in terms of the level at which he is able to think and read the game.

“He used that along with his excellent physical skills to be an impact player this past season, not only offensively but in other facets of the game like face-offs and penalty killing.

“He was a key part of our success, and it’s great news to have Matic back in our line-up next season.”

Kralj previously iced in Britain in 2009/10 for Newcastle Vipers and two seasons later with Coventry Blaze.
