Great Britain U16 have named their squad for the international competition taking place in Spain during April.

The four-team tournament, which is being held in Barcelona, is scheduled for Friday 7th to Sunday 9th April.

GB and Spain are expected to be joined by Poland and Hungary, although that has still to be officially confirmed.

Britain go into the competition on the back of winning the four-team international tournament in Dumfries in December, where they beat Belgium, Netherlands and Spain.

Head Coach Robert Wilkinson said: “I’m very happy with the team again, with just a few adjustments from the December roster in Dumfries.

“We’re hoping to continue the progress we made in Dumfries, but we know the opposition will be tougher this time around.

“This will be a good benchmark to see exactly where we are at with this group of players.

“We’ve included two new goalies as we’ve had four exceptional goalies from the start, so wanted to look at all four in action over the season.

“Louis Chabot, who was unable to make the last tournament, comes in again as he’s someone we’re keen to have a look at in a competitive situation.”
