Great Britain Women have named their captaincy team for this week’s trip to Slovakia.

Georgina Farman will wear the captain’s armband, with Saffron Allen and Lauren Summers as her assistants.

GB Head Coach, Michelle Smith, said: “We have a whole host of experienced players. These three are well respected in the locker room, which is important.

“They also set examples on the ice with their performances. The three of them have a great passion to play for GB and have all the attributes you need in a captaincy team.”

GB and Slovakia go head-to-head on Friday 15th July and Saturday 16th July.

Great Britain will undergo training sessions on Thursday ahead of tomorrow’s first game.

Both matches are taking place at the Zimný štadión Petržalka in Slovakia.
