Great Britain Women U18 have named a squad of 22 for next week’s trip to Budapest for a four-team international tournament.

GB will face Hungary, Poland and Spain from Tuesday 4th to Thursday 6th October 2016.

It is the second year of the tournament after Spain won the inaugural event at iceSheffield last season.

Head Coach Cheryl Smith said: “There was a lot of competition for places, which shows the women’s programme is very healthy at the moment.

“Obviously there are a lot of new faces from last year’s tournament and the World Championship in Austria.

“We have so much exciting young talent coming through the system at the moment.

“This will be excellent preparation for the squad to play in a competitive environment and some will be doing it for the first time.

“We will learn a lot about the squad and it is good preparation for January’s World Championship.”
