Stephen Gunn has agreed his 12th season with Fife Flyers.

The 31-year-old made his senior debut for the club back in 2005 and has established himself as a key member of Flyers’ British contingent of players.

“I’m really happy to be back for another year with the Flyers,” said Gunn. “I’m looking forward to getting back on the ice and getting the season underway.

“I’ve been working hard off the ice this summer, so fitness wise I’m ready for the season ahead.

“There are quite a lot of new guys on the team this year, and there’s been a few changes over the summer, so this season will be different, but we’re all excited to get it going and start winning some games.”

Head Coach Todd Dutiaume added: “He’s a great guy and he knows that he has to compete for us every game this season.

“He’s a veteran in the room and it’s good to have him back in the line-up for the forthcoming season.”
