Dundee Stars’ netminder Craig Holland has agreed a third season with the Elite League club.

Holland, who has previously iced for Fife Flyers and Edinburgh Capitals, will act as back-up to new goalie Joe Fallon.

Stars’ boss Marc LeFebvre said: “Craig has worked hard to enhance his game and I think he is a better all-round goalie than he was last summer.

“He has built a strong foundation by improving some of the technical aspects of his game and that will provide a solid framework to help him to continue to grow next season.

“He is very coachable and that is one of the reasons I wanted him back. I would also like to thank Trevor (Koenig), Vlastimil (Lakosil) and Daryll Plantinga for lending an assist in Craig’s development.”

Holland added: “I’m delighted to have signed again with Dundee. We had a good year last year with a brilliant group of guys so I’m very excited about coming back.

“This season gives us something to build on for next season. It is a great club to be part of and so it was a no brainer to sign back when Marc asked me.”
