Guildford Flames have confirmed forward Ian Watters has agreed a deal to stay with the club for a further two years.

Watters, 27, joined the club from Reading Royals in 2017 and boasts an impressive record of 107 points in 111 appearances for the Flames in the EIHL.

Head coach Paul Dixon said: “Ian has certainly blossomed here as a much more offensive player than we would have anticipated when he first arrived.

“When you combine that with an exceptionally hard working style, and the drive to never give up on a play or a shift, you get what we have which is an exceptionally valuable player in the line-up.

“We are thrilled that he has agreed a two-year contract and we are looking forward to seeing him back here when the season gets underway.”
