Great Britain U18 began their World Championship (Division 2A) tournament in Korea with a 6-5 shoot-out defeat against Estonia.
GB trailed 5-3 at the second break, but Liam Kirk scored twice to secure a point before the penalty-shot heartbreak.
Kirk’s equaliser with just seven seconds remaining was a stunning solo effort – Tyler Cooper (2) and Rio Grinell-Parke scored GB’s other goals.

Head Coach Martin Grubb said: “I see this as points lost to be honest. We asked our players to come out fast, be intense and be relentless.
“We started like a house on fire. We were aggressive, we were smart and everyone looked good for the first ten minutes to so.
“But we started to make mistakes and that second period was just horrendous.”
